# Native Token

What can you do with the BLDT token? BlueLotusDAO uses BLDT as decision maker in governance votes, you can stake your BLDT to participate in protocol proposal and decision making.

BlueLotusDAO TOKEN (BLDT) is the token used at all levels of governance of the ecosystem, which represents a financial participation in the Swap and where BLDT governs, it also grants voting power in the decisions of the ecosystem in the future.

Coming soon BLDT will be the native token of BlueLotusDAO powered by GCHAIN which will be  functional run by its own governance.

It has an initial supply of 350,000 tokens on the market, with a careful tailored [deflationary](/genesys-blockchain/bluelotusdao/bluelotusdao-products/bluelotusdao-protocol/bldt-tokenomics/deflationary-mechanisms.md) strategy.
